A golf course in South Wales set in 120 acres of stunning views across the Swansea Valley and Black Mountain, situated at the foot of the Brecon Beacons National Park a visit to Palleg & Swansea Valley Golf Course will be day to enjoy. Palleg & Swansea Valley Golf Course was established in 1930 just 3/4 of a mile along the Palleg & Swansea Valley Golf Course Course. The Golf Club was relocated in 1965 to its current location.
We are close to the location of the RYDER CUP 2010, the Celtic Manor Resort Golf Course (only 50 Minutes away). Other local attractions include the Dan Y Rogof Caves (only 15 minutes away).
Palleg & Swansea Valley Golf Course was purchased from the members of Palleg Golf Club in November 2005 by Graham Coombe (PGA Professional), Kevin Innalls, Andrew Edwards and Geoffrey Fisher when the Palleg Members Club fell into financial difficulties.
The new owners bring a wealth of experience to Palleg & Swansea Valley Golf Course with Graham Coombe (PGA Professional) former Club Professional @ the Isle of Wedmore Golf Club with over 28 years of experience as a Golf Professional. Kevin Innalls currently Head Green keeper @ the Isle of Wedmore Golf Club with over 27 years experience in Green keeping, Andrew Edwards currently director and founder of the Isle of Wedmore Golf Club for over 16 years and Geoffrey Fisher a builder in the county of Somerset with over 40 years experience in the building trade.
Palleg & Swansea Valley Golf Course is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC 7 DAYS A WEEK and can be enjoyed by both advanced and lesser experienced golfers. Aggressively priced Membership, Green Fee, Corporate and Society Package opportunities are available to suit both local and visiting golfers.
With Junior Green Fees from £7, Adults playing with a Member £12 and a Summer Green Fee at just £18, our club is well worth a visit.
